We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. tight makeup even at this level. makes me wonder what lens you used... great job for a "practice" shot. really nailed the lashes and great eye color!
i just used the standard lens, 18-55mm. it was hard getting it to focus.
I just picked up an inexpensive "prime" lens for my xsi (50mm f/1.8) for around $100 it really shines and is keeping my 18-55mm in the bag -lol wish I had access to your makeup artist.

it's a canon lens - great introductory lens into the world of primes. got mine from amazon it's called the 50mm f/1.8 mark II .. google for samples and info, it seems to be very popular.
flimsy lens that might break easily but for the money it's the best lens for the buck out there.
sounds like you are very multi - talented - great job!
i'll definatly check it out. I'm working on getting some new lenses so I might pick that one up too!
